Our Favourite Transport Ideas

Here at Malvern College Weddings, we have had the pleasure of hosting some fantastic weddings and working with an array of amazing local suppliers. We love the uniqueness of each wedding couple and how they incorporate their own personal style, even when it comes to the wedding transport! The send-offs are always so spectacular and a personal highlight of ours, so we thought we would turn back the clock and reminisce on the fantastic cars, carriages and other vehicles we have had the pleasure of witnessing.
In July 2019, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr & Mrs Maynard‘s wedding in Memorial Library. Victoria and her bridal party arrived in a gorgeous silver Bentley and all wedding guests were taken to the reception venue in a cream vintage bus. The perfect accessory and backdrop to their photographs!
Like Victoria and Darren, Lucy and Sean had two fantastic modes of transport on their gorgeous, sunny wedding day. Guests were whisked away to the reception in an old-fashioned red double decker bus, whilst Lucy and Sean cruised away in a classic Morgan Motor Car.
We thoroughly enjoyed marrying Mr & Mrs Portman back in September 2016. Vivian arrived in horse and carriage supplied by The Cavalry Heroes which was how the newlyweds were whisked away to their reception venue!
Like Lucy & Sean, George and Hester also opted for a gorgeous racing green Morgan Motor Car for their wedding day, like our couples, we do love these classic Malvern built motors.
5. Ruth and Joe
We can’t believe it has been almost three years since we congratulated newlyweds Ruth and Joe in our Big School ceremony venue. We remember waving goodbye to them as they made their way to their reception in an adorable floral pattern VW campervan.
What we loved about Polly and Kieron’s special day was how Polly surprised Kieron after the ceremony with an Indian Ambassador – dressed and decorated with bright Indian fabrics and exotic flowers.
The sun was shining down on Katie & Elliot who were married in our Memorial Library back in August 2017. The pair had a gorgeous wedding ceremony decorated the venue with beautiful and vibrant Proteas, which tied in beautifully with the pastel blue VW campervan they traveled in.
